Damage Types
Characters can deal various types of weapon damage, including damage from their class and additional damage from skills or talents.
Heavy Weapon Damage:
Dealt by Knight and Warrior's Basic Attacks and specific talents and skills, Heavy Weapon damage takes into account Heavy Weapon Resistance values, as well as 'damage increases' and 'damage reductions' from skills and talents.
Light Weapon Damage:
Dealt by Ranger's Basic Attacks and specific talents and skills, Light Weapon damage takes into account Light Weapon Resistance values, as well as 'damage increases' and 'damage reductions' from skills and talents.
Spell Damage:
Dealt by Mage's Basic Attacks and specific talents and skills, Spell damage takes into account Spell Damage Resistance values, as well as 'damage increases' and 'damage reductions' from skills and talents.
Fixed Damage:
Fixed damage is a unique type of damage that does not vary based on the target’s defenses or resistances. It is influenced only by 'damage increases' and 'damage reductions' from skills and talents.
True Damage:
True damage bypasses all forms of damage reduction and calculations. Neither "damage increases" nor "damage reductions" from skills and talents affect true damage, with one exception: the "True Damage Increase" modifiers from skills and talents.
Understanding these damage types is essential for players as they strategize their character builds and combat approaches. By leveraging the appropriate attributes, skills, and talents, players can maximize their effectiveness in battles across the vast world of Starfall Chronicles.
