Displacement Check
In combat, certain skills, traits, and talents allow characters to displace enemies through various methods, such as Knock-back, Side-Knock, or Pulling. Mostly influenced by ones Constitution attribute, the rates are calculated in this manner:
Displacement Success Rate: 50% + (Constitution × 0.002)
Displacement Resistance: Constitution × 0.002
With the final chance of the displacement to be:
Final Displacement Chance = Attacker’s Displacement Success Rate − Defender’s Displacement Resistance
It is important to note that even if an evasion is successful upon, the displacement check runs as usual and a displacement could still happen.
When a mercenary is about to be displaced into a grid where their ally is already positioned, instead of the displacement occurring, both the displaced mercenary and the ally will take Collision Damage. This damage is calculated as 20% of the combined total HP of both mercenaries, and the damage type is classified as Heavy Weapon Damage.
